ABOUT NOOR

This year I am welcoming Noor Al-Shaikhly who will be joining me as an art instructor at Kate Green Design. Not only is Noor warm, encouraging and supportive, but she is also immensely talented with a deep understanding of the art process and techniques. Noor will be a huge asset to the studio.

Hi everyone!
My name is Noor, and I’m excited to be joining Kate’s studio this fall as an instructor in drawing, oils and acrylic painting.
While portraiture is my favourite subject, I also have a deep appreciation for nature and landscape art.
I have studied classical drawing and painting for many years with a variety of instructors and also dive deeply into art via personal study which has given me a solid grounding in colour theory, composition and the intricate aspects of painting. These experiences have helped shape both my technical skills and my love of artistic exploration.
I look forward to working in such a welcoming and inspiring studio environment, and to supporting students as they develop their skills, confidence, and unique artistic voice.
